Key Responsibilities:

Sales and Marketing Leadership:

  • Develop and execute innovative sales and marketing strategies to drive revenue growth and increase market share.
  • Analyze market trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities to inform product selection and promotional campaigns.
  • Implement customer-centric initiatives to enhance the overall shopping experience.

Customer Service Excellence:

  • Cultivate a customer-focused culture, ensuring all staff prioritize service and satisfaction.
  • Implement training programs to enhance product knowledge and customer service skills among team members.
  • Resolve customer issues promptly and effectively, turning challenges into opportunities for positive customer experiences.

Brand Building and Community Engagement:

  • Build and promote the dispensary's brand through local marketing initiatives and community partnerships.
  • Implement loyalty programs and customer engagement strategies to create a base of recurring and loyal customers.
  • Actively participate in local events and initiatives to enhance the dispensary's visibility and community presence.

Compliance and Operational Efficiency:

  • Ensure strict adherence to all legal and regulatory requirements governing cannabis dispensary operations.
  • Utilize inventory tracking software to optimize stock levels, monitor product movement, and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Implement efficient inventory control measures to minimize waste and maximize profitability.

Team Leadership and Development:

  • Recruit, train, and lead a motivated team of budtenders and support staff.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that encourages employee growth and development.
  • Set performance expectations and provide ongoing coaching and feedback.

Financial Management:

  • Develop and manage budgets, ensuring financial targets are met or exceeded.
  • Analyze financial reports, key performance indicators, and sales metrics to inform strategic decision-making.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and operational excellence.
  • Implement initiatives to enhance overall dispensary efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a leadership role within the cannabis industry or similar retail environment.
  • Strong focus on customer service and the ability to build and retain a loyal customer base.
  • Familiarity with compliance and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience utilizing inventory tracking and point of sale software.
  • Exceptional organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Prior retail management experience is preferred but not required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
