A mission-based organization in the Washington, DC area is seeking a Digital Designer to join its team. The Digital Designer will be responsible for creating digital assets for multimedia and graphics projects.
Duties and responsibilities include:
- Designing on-brand creative solutions for a variety of digital media including, but not limited to, websites, mobile apps, advertising, emails, social media, digital publications, and interactive displays.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to interpret concepts into digital design, taking ideas from concept to execution.
- Delivering digital designs that are creative, useful, align with technical and brand standards, and deliver an effective user experience.
- Developing 2D and 3D animations.
- Maintaining technical knowledge in graphic design and emerging trends.
Qualified candidates will have:
- 5 or more years of digital design, content creation and curation, and information architecture experience.
- Extensive experience in Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office Suite, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and WordPress.
- Knowledge of Adobe Premiere and/or Adobe After Effects a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or equivalent with a digital strategy focus.
- Interpersonal, communication, presentation, and analytical skills.
- Project management, planning, and organization skills.
