Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Estimator to join our team. The Estimator will be responsible for accurately estimating the costs of Point of Purchase displays and projects and providing detailed proposals to clients. We offer a creative work environment full of variety. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in estimating, cost control, and project management.
Duties:
- Based on input from the design team and customers, create initial rough display design for estimating
- Communicate with team to clarify design objectives
- Prepare accurate cost estimates for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor services.
- Utilize ERP system to streamline the estimating process by entering materials and routing steps into the quote
- Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and subcontractors
- Monitor project costs throughout the manufacturing process and provide cost control recommendations
- Prepare detailed proposals for clients that outline the scope of work, pricing, and project timelines in a timely manner
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Estimator
- Computer experience including MS Office, ERP systems is a plus
- Strong organization skillls
- Excellent mathematical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
