Ultimately, a top-performing Dental Receptionist will perform all duties in a manner that ensures the efficient running of the dental practice.

Dental Receptionist Responsibilities:

  • Warmly greeting patients upon arrival and updating all appropriate forms
  • Maintaining the appearance and order of the dental office to include patient scheduling and management
  • Presenting treatment plans by going over services recommended and explaining out-of-pocket costs to the patients
  • Scheduling, rescheduling, or canceling appointments as needed.
  • Keeping the providers schedules full by reaching out to patients via phone, email or text
  • Managing office email and automated communication system
  • Communicating with dental insurance providers to follow up on claims not paid.
  • Collecting patient co-pays.
  • Working on accounts receivable reports and collections reporting.
  • Ensure that each patient has a wonderful patient experience from the time they arrive for their appointment to the time they leave.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $22.00 per hour
