About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) to take on a leadership role within the Security team. The CISO will be tasked with developing and implementing security strategies across various security-focused teams, including Security Engineering, Assurance, and Security Operations. This position requires a candidate with a proven track record in building and enhancing security programs within Cloud-based SaaS organizations. The successful applicant will be responsible for leading risk management and compliance programs, engaging with significant security incidents, and maintaining executive-level relationships related to security. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential, as is the ability to work with highly technical teams and influence product strategy.Applicants for the CISO role at the company should have previous experience as a CISO or CSO in a B2B, cloud-based SaaS company, with IPO experience being a plus. A technical background, particularly in software engineering, is also beneficial. The ideal candidate will approach security with a DevOps mindset, have experience with public Cloud providers, Kubernetes, and securing both open-source software and SaaS products. Familiarity with security frameworks, regulatory requirements, and standards such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, HIPAA, GDPR, PCI, FedRamp, and SOX is required. The CISO must be adept at translating complex cybersecurity concepts into business impact for both technical and non-technical audiences. Experience in highly regulated industries and with observability tooling to solve security problems is a bonus.
