About the Role

The Company requires a Chief Accounting Officer (CAO) with a strong background in corporate accounting and controllership, particularly in the context of preparing for an initial public offering (IPO). The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the Record to Report (R2R) function, ensuring compliance with US GAAP and international local statutory requirements, and serving as the finance owner for business process and technology architecture. This role is pivotal in standing up for the accounting organization and preparing the team for the demands of becoming an independent public company. The CAO will also be tasked with directing the development of global accounting policies, advising on potential changes in accounting regulations, and creating functional strategies to support the company's objectives.Key requirements for this position include at least 15 years of relevant experience, with a preference for those who have served as a CAO in a Fortune 100 company. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in building high-performance teams, developing leaders, and driving organizational and cultural change. Strong leadership skills, the ability to challenge the status quo, and a solid understanding of SEC/GAAP rules and regulations are essential. The role demands a leader with executive presence, capable of effectively engaging with the executive leadership team, the Board of Directors, and external authorities. A background in the semiconductor or high-tech industry, as well as experience in business process architecture leadership and ERP system implementation, is also required.
