Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Babysitter/Nanny to provide exceptional care for children in the area. The ideal candidate will have a passion for caregiving and educating children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times. This is a great opportunity for individuals with experience in nannying, daycare, or childcare who enjoy working with infants, toddlers, and children of all ages. This job is part-time.

Responsibilities:

- Create a safe and nurturing environment for children in your care

- Engage children in age-appropriate activities to promote their physical, emotional, and cognitive development

- Prepare meals and snacks for children, considering any dietary restrictions or preferences

- Maintain a clean and organized play area

- Monitor children's behavior and address any issues or concerns promptly

- Administer first aid or seek medical attention if necessary

- Collaborate with parents to ensure consistency in child-rearing practices

- Follow established routines and schedules to promote stability and predictability for the children

Skills:

- Proven experience caring for children, either through previous babysitting, nannying, or daycare roles

- Knowledge of infant care practices, including feeding, diapering, and soothing techniques

- Ability to engage children in educational activities that promote learning and development

- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with both children and parents

- First aid certification is preferred but not required

- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
