House Manager Duties

Daily

· Read communication book.

· Resolve any issues with concerned parties, including residents, aides, nurse, kitchen and management

· Handle phone calls when necessary

· Communicate with residents and families.

· Supervise staff.

· Discipline staff.

· Make schedule changes.

· Fill in for shifts if necessary.

· Coordinate any home repair with maintenance personnel

· Weekly care notes.

Monthly

· Conduct and evaluate fire drills, elopement, and disaster.

· Hold a resident council meeting and keep minutes.

· Take turns with on call weekend

· Attendance – Keep track of all absences, tardiness, and follow-up with corrective action documentation.

· Schedule – Post bi-weekly, considering all vacation and shift changes that are received.

· Give tours when director is not available.

· Payroll – verify hours with time sheets.

· Employee evaluations and documentation.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
