Job Overview:
We are seeking an Assistant Project Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong time management and project management skills, as well as experience in construction management. As an Assistant Project Manager, you will be responsible for assisting in the coordination and execution of construction projects. Duties:
- Assist the project manager with the project
- Manage task lists, finish schedules, submittals, order samples, email correspondence, etc.
- Review and interpret blueprints, schematics, and other construction documents
- Assist in the preparation of bid packages and proposals
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure compliance with project specifications
- Assist in the coordination of subcontractors and vendors
- Assist with designing
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including change orders and progress reports
Experience:
- Experience with an architecture firm or construction company, design background
- Proven experience in project coordination or management within the construction industry
- Proficiency in Microsoft programs
- Familiarity with blueprint reading and interpretation
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
