Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles and be proficient in various accounting software. As an Accounts Receivable Clerk, you will be responsible for managing and processing incoming payments, maintaining accurate records, and providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities:
- Process and post incoming payments accurately and timely
- Reconcile customer accounts and resolve any discrepancies
- Generate and distribute invoices to customers
- Monitor accounts receivable aging and follow up on overdue payments
- Communicate with customers regarding payment status and resolve any billing inquiries or disputes
- Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions
- Assist with month-end closing activities, including preparing reports and reconciling accounts
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely billing

Skills:
To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills:
- Strong understanding of debits and credits
- Proficiency in math and technical accounting principles
- Excellent data entry skills with a high level of accuracy
- Experience working with Quickbooks
- Knowledge of accounts payable processes is beneficial
- Previous experience in public accounting is preferred but not required
- Exceptional customer service skills to effectively communicate with clients

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week
