Role Summary

Our rapidly growing and dynamic environment is seeking a Manager of Implementation and Support in Data Management. This position will manage a group of 6 – 8 developers and analysts. The group is responsible for implementing and maintaining multiple PHI databases and web-based applications across multiple clients, communicating and working with third party vendors and their associated products.

The Manager of Implementation and Support will participate in all phases of delivery including business/system analysis, data architecture, development and support in Microsoft SQL environment. 

Responsibilities

• Serve as implementation lead for new clients/products
• Attend and coordinate cross-project meetings and activities
• Work with project manager to estimate and prioritize projects based on client priorities and resource allowance
• Participate in requirements gathering for development team
• Lead delivery efforts across a portfolio of products and services, supporting client usage of data products and platforms, and synthesizing feedback for development teams
• Schedule, assign, and evaluate work for direct reports in both US and abroad
• Provide oversight and guidance to developers and analysts. Serve as technical point of escalation
• Oversee support efforts for data vendors and client deliverables
• Research production issues to determine root cause and recommend solutions

Requirements

• At minimum, Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences

• Minimum 4 – 5 years of previous experience in healthcare industry
• Proof of previous skills and achievements
• Understand company goals and define and monitor team’s goals toward company goals
• Ability to guide and provide a team of 3 – 5 with clear technical direction

• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to work effectively with other departments to streamline processes
