Job Description
The Position
We are currently recruiting for a Senior Specialist, Patient Support Marketing for Biosimilars Marketing Strategy and Promotion (US). The position can either be a hybrid (in-person/remote) based in Plymouth Meeting, PA or fully remote as the team has capabilities to support what is ideal for every employee. They will report to the Associate Director, Patient Support Strategy while working closely with the marketing brand leads.
The Senior Specialist, Patient Support Marketing is responsible for executing promotional strategies and managing the promotional processes that support the Biosimilars Patient Marketing portfolio, with a focus on our rheumatoid arthritis product Patient Support Program. This is a great opportunity for an ambitious self-starter, new in their career, who is interested in learning more about the fundamentals of patient marketing.
Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with brand leads and cross-functional colleagues to design and execute plans that maximize growth strategies for brands.
  • Support tactical execution of patient support program initiatives, including digital execution, field leave behinds, nurse scripts, etc.
  • Develop content and resource plans that support the development of the patient support program and patient initiatives, and continuously optimize through data and insights.
  • Support the Promotional Review Team (PRT) submission process for the patient support program tactics, in collaboration with other functional teams.
  • Support management of our rheumatoid arthritis product patient support program ecosystem, including the management of the third-party vendors, ensuring transparency and efficient collaboration across partners and vendors.
  • Open and manage purchase orders and internal accounting and budget processes.
  • Maintain understanding of customer needs and journeys to ensure integrated customer activation plans.
  • Leverage data, research and insights to inform go-to-market planning.
  • Stay abreast of leading trends in marketing, content strategy and customer engagement and monitor competitive landscape.
Required Experience and Skills
  • 3- years of professional experience.
  • Strategic and innovative thinker.
  • Test and learn mindset to drive culture of innovation.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated preliminary business acumen, and ability to collaborate within the team and cross-functionally.
  • Experience with collaborating across functional areas, influencing without authority and working with external partners.
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities.
  • Comfort with learning new systems, processes, and software (e.g., SAP, Veeva, etc.).
Preferred Education, Experience and Skills
  • BA/BS degree preferred.
  • Experience in B2B and/or B2C marketing strategies.
  • Promotion experience including bringing materials through legal, regulatory, and clinical review.
  • One year of marketing experience in pharmaceutical marketing.
