Capture Manager/ BD Director HHS 

We are seeking a Capture/BD Director to capture new business for theU.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) leveraging ourHHS presence and Concept Plus capabilities in key and emergingaccounts. These high-end capabilities include data analytics, digitaltransformation, cloud and infrastructure, and Oracle Solutions. 

Primary Responsibilities: 

• Develop and execute growth strategy for HHS incollaboration with the P&L Director for that sector
• Support capture of new and organic growth opportunitiesacross HHS, as well as recompetes.
• Develop key client relationships across Health IT. Createformal networks with key decision makers and serve as external spokesperson for the organization.

• Develop a proficient understanding of CP’s serviceofferings.
• Contribute to the growth of the company through captureand proposal writing.
• Must be able to lead and control meetings and bringgroups of diverse personalities to consensus.
• Demonstrated ability to work within sales cycles andgenerate business opportunities. Manage the opportunity lifecycle from end to end.

• Work collaboratively with other functional areas such are recruiting and contracts to complete capture tasks.

Required Qualifications: 

• Must have bachelor’s degree in business administration, public administration, or arelated field.
• 10 years of experience in federal government contracting, preferably in acapture management role.

Prefer 3 years of HHScapture experience. 

• Demonstrate a successful history of winning new workincluding capturing large, complex, multi-million-dollar

projects. 

• Experience with capture and leading a proposal response.
• Proficiency with proposal writing.
• Would prefer a candidate with multiple senior-levelrelationships across HHS including industry andgovernment. This includes but is not limited to NIH, FDA,CMS, CDC, and OASH.
• Proven analytical abilities; ability to draw insight fromfindings and understand customer’s business issues.
• Proven written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications: 

• 3 years of HHS capture experience preferred.
• Familiarity with DoD/Federal competitive proposal process.
• Strong understanding of federal government contracting regulations andbest practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlinesunder pressure.
