Concept Machine is Hiring a Remote Inside Sales

Job Summary

The Inside Sales Specialist is responsible for driving revenue through the sales and growth of after-market products and services. Our customer base relies on this position for product and industry knowledge to acquire optimal solutions for their business needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing sales coverage and developing the best possible market penetration for all products and services to existing and prospective accounts.
  • Promote the full range of company products and services – precision gaging, calibration, inspection
  • Generate new sales revenue (from both new and existing accounts)
  • Maximize upselling or cross-selling opportunities in existing accounts
  • Prospect and identify opportunities in specific industries/market segments and develop relationships to convert into new business
  • Receiving POs and working with Sales team to process
  • Generate accurate Quotes, follow up on Quotes in a timely manner, and Close Orders.
  • Respond promptly to Customer Inquiries received directly via Phone, Email
  • Support team members and overall goals of the Inside Sales Team

Qualifications and Skills

  • 3 years of sales experience in an industrial environment, metrology preferred
  • Proven track record of meeting sales goals
  • Understanding of metrology/inspection equipment, manufacturing and engineering processes
  • Must be self-motivated, self-directed, enthusiastic and detail orientated
  • Excellent interpersonal relationship skills
  • Excellent communication skills; must be a listener, a presenter, and a people-person
  • Ability to interact consultatively with customers, determine needs and develop appropriate solutions
  • Good computer skills; proficient in Microsoft Office products
  • Proficient with Customer Relationship Management software (e.g., Salesforce)
