JOB SUMMARY:

As a Carrier Representative your job is seek capacity to cover your team and the company’s freight from new prospects and established Carrier Customers. You will build the relationship between Concept Logistics and the Carrier Customer with elite professional customer service and create and execute attack & expansion plans. You will coordinate available customer freight with any available motor carrier equipment to deliver on time while providing regular customer support.

SALARY:

$42,500 - $52,500 per year with monthly bonuses and incentives.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide and negotiate freight rates to motor carriers and the internal sales team to ensure maximum profitability.
• Coordinate available customer freight with available motor carrier equipment.
• Work effectively with shipper representatives and load planners to provide a seamless efficient experience for customers.
• Assist your team in all aspects of load, rating, entry, and tracking within in a timely manner.
• Solve customer and carrier problems and help resolve issues.
• Consistently provide service and support to motor carriers to build the business relationship.
• Willingness to promote an environment that supports diversity and reflects the company brand.
• Other duties as necessary or assigned.

REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:

• 1-2 years of Supply Chain/Logistics experience OR an equivalate college-level coursework is preferred.
• Ability to negotiate, persuade, and motivate others.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize time sensitive situations in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to develop and maintain professional working relationships with customers as well as Concept associates.
• Ability to work within a team environment.
