Mountain West Excavation is looking to fill an Excavation Foreman position. A good candidate will have 5 years of experience as a heavy equipment operator, and at least 6 months of experience as a foreman-in-training, with 2 years as a foreman preferred. Experience on a grading crew is required, pipe experience is a plus.

Job duties:

• Responsible for the crew’s safety

• Read and interpret plans

• Lead/assign tasks to a crew of 2-4 operators and laborers

• Perform the work according to company procedure

• Communicate with the company superintendent, the customer, and the crew

• Operate GPS equipment

Pay and benefits:

$30 /hr depending on experience

Pay: $27.00 - $30.00 per hour
