COMTEC is Hiring a Communications Specialist Near Peachtree, GA

Position: Communications Professional 2

Location: Peachtree Corners, GA 30092 (HYBRID)

Duration: 7 Months

Job Description:

8:00 am - 5:00 pm

In the office a minimum of two days a week in person

Traveling needed to trade shows and marketing events several times a month throughout the United States

Responsibilities:

This role will be part of a team of Marketing Communications (Marcom) professionals covering several businesses within the United States. The role will be executing various Marketing Communications activities, including, but not limited to creation of marketing collateral, website, and email campaigns. The primary responsibility of this role will be to work with other Marcom and business counterparts to plan and execute a large number of tradeshows and events on an annual basis.

This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Managing our annual tradeshow and events calendar
  • Manage and refine our tradeshow and events process
  • Develop tradeshow strategy based on business objectives
  • Plan and execute assigned tradeshows and events throughout the year independently
  • Manage tradeshow budgets
  • Collaborate with external tradeshow vendors/suppliers
  • Manage tradeshow leads within our Salesforce database
  • Using surveys and lead analysis, evaluate the effectiveness of each trade show and recommend any needed improvements
  • Determine the effectiveness of marketing materials from the tradeshows resulting in ROI measure
  • Create all types of Marketing collateral

Required travel:

Traveling would be required to support any of our shows nationally, all around the United States to set up and tear down tradeshow booths and manage events. Depending on how many shows/events it could be once a month or even more than once a month.

All expenses are paid for this (airline ticket, rental car, hotel, food…).

Qualifications:

  • Good project management skills
  • Good communicator
  • Ability to work across a matrix organization
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience managing all aspects of a tradeshow and event
  • Bachelor’s degree in journalism, marketing, communications or a related field

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
