Compudopt is Hiring a Program Director | Dallas Near Dallas, TX

Organization Overview:
Compudopt is a national non-profit organization that aims to provide technology access and education to under-resourced youth and their communities. Compudopt is seeking a Program Director to be a key member of Compudopt’s Dallas, TX site leadership team. This full-time Program Director is responsible for the operational success of Compudopt’s core education programs. Day-to-day duties will involve team and people management, strategic thinking and problem-solving, program/curriculum development, partnership engagement, program delivery, quality control, and evaluation. This role based out of the Dallas, TX office.
The Program Director must act with integrity, be committed to achieving organizational goals, take responsibility for mission achievement, demonstrate accountability by starting with yes, and demonstrate the ability to inspire, grow and motivate others.
Major Job Responsibilities and Duties:
Program Operations Management
  • Lead the execution of strategy to meet annual program goals, including sourcing and securing partnerships with schools and community organizations.
  • Partner with Senior Director of Community Impact to determine annual program goals, appropriate growth capacity, and design program strategy annually.
  • Create and execute memorandums of understanding with all partners for the smooth delivery of services.
  • Develop and manage relationships with partner director-level staff, support the relationship building of program management staff with site managers/coordinators.
  • Lead program management staff to ensure all programs are delivered on time, aligned with identified budget, and partnership agreements, and achieve goals.
  • Ensure program managers accurately schedule, staff, and evaluate all programs.
  • Prepare and present metrics reports for Senior Director of Community Impact, including high-level data points on qualitative and quantitative outcomes.
  • Evaluate program, partner, and client feedback and implement program adjustments accordingly.
  • Manage and lead the creation and execution of district partnerships by completing district RFPs and specific project-based grant applications.
  • Support the management and reporting of specific project grant applications.
Staff Management
  • Lead the professional development and training of all program management staff.
  • Conduct annual performance evaluation of direct reports.
  • Recruit, hire, and oversee training and orientation of new program management staff and other relevant program staff reporting to this position, new or existing.
  • Problem-solve and manage conflicts, challenges, and other issues that may arise in the execution of the program.
Quality Improvement
  • In partnership with program managers, establish consistent and objective program evaluation and outcome standards.
  • Analyze evaluation outcomes and leverage information to improve program quality and impact.
  • Work creatively with program managers to design and implement enhancements to the current curriculum, build additional program activities, and ensure they align with the highest industry standards.
  • Work collaboratively with Senior Director of Community Impact as well as any relevant task forces/committees on growth and innovation for long-term goal achievement.
  • Ensure curriculum standards and content align with organizational vision and goals.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Required:
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Minimum 5 years professional, relevant work experience in teaching/training and curriculum writing experience.
Special Knowledge/Skills:
  • Excellent organizational skills, with a demonstrated commitment to meeting a high bar and a history of getting things done even in the face of obstacles and ambiguity.
  • Experience managing multiple projects and the ability to manage teammates as well as internal and external stakeholders.
  • Expertise setting vision and direction of key internal functions.

Salary is one component of Compudopt’s total compensation package, which also includes:
  • Health, vision and dental care, employee paid life insurance, short-term disability and AD&D
  • Compudopt contributes up to $7015 per year towards health insurance plan costs.
  • Compudopt contributes up to 4% to each employee’s retirement plan.
  • Paid Time Off (PTO), 10 paid company holidays, and other leave allowances
