Contract Type: Contract-to-Hire (C2H)

Responsibilities:

• Work on existing and new initiatives within the Anti Money Laundering suite of applications, focusing on OFAC Sanctions screening for Customers and Real-time Cash and Securities Transactions.
• Focus on Customer screening for Adverse Media or Negative News as part of Customer KYC.
• Liaise with Product Owners and Project Managers in the Global Financial Crimes (GFC) business function to understand critical high-priority deliverables each quarter and translate them into finished products.
• Communicate effectively with global teams, adapt rapidly, and learn fast.
• Collaborate with Clients and IT colleagues to identify new requirements, create user stories, track prioritization, and remediation.
• Understand complex business use cases, design appropriate solutions, develop the underlying implementation, and leverage team strengths for application success.
• Develop collaborative relationships with a squad working across different departments and regions.
• Lead and/or contribute to key project workstreams relating to the buildout of evolving OFAC regulatory rules.
• Participate in Squad/Fleet Agile ceremonies providing updates and reporting for Clients and Senior Management.
• Financial domain knowledge and understanding of the Anti Money Laundering space is advantageous.

• Excellent communication skills (both oral and written) and ability to liaise with colleagues/clients of all levels.
• Highly numerate with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work consistently and efficiently to achieve goals either as an individual or as part of a team.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and project management tools such as Microsoft Teams, Excel, and Visio.
• Experience in investigating, summarizing, and presenting results in a meaningful format to clients and Senior Management.

Desired Skills:

• Understanding of the OFAC Sanctions process.
• Understanding of Negative News Screening process as part of Client KYC onboarding.
• 3 years of Software Technology experience.
