(ASC) AMBULATORY SURGERY CENTER FRONT DESK

We have a full-time FRONT DESK ASSOCIATE opportunity available for an experienced receptionist, unit clerk, or patient service representative in our Ambulatory Surgery Center. This is a TEAM role that will need your patience, high levels of communication, and integrity

Our FRONT DESK ASSOCIATE is responsible for welcoming and checking in patients when they arrive for surgery, prepping surgery charts, reviewing charts for completion, managing flow through the ASC, and working closely with nurses, physicians, and other staff.

Qualifications

A successful candidate for FRONT DESK ASSOCIATE has the following:

• A high school diploma, (some college is excellent!)
• A committed work history that shows longevity and growth
• Experience in a fast-paced OFFICE environment (healthcare or medical office preferred)
• Experience with patient intake preferred
• Familiarly with computer software and the ability to learn new systems quickly (Electronic health record experience preferred)
• Proven work history of EXCELLENT ATTENDANCE, including professional references and completion of a background check.
• The ability to work at different work locations during the day on occasion- clean DMV and/or transportation required.
• The ability to obtain sufficient reference report on your skills and a sufficient background check
• An interest in self education and career growth. This is not a job; it is a healthcare career.
