We are searching for a System Administrator to join our growing IT Team!

As a System Administrator, you will be responsible for managing the integrity of our system hardware and software, including servers, and storage equipment, both cloud-based and on-premises. You will ensure system hardware and software adhere to the organizational policies while enabling a productive and efficient system environment. You will provide IT support via the Help Desk, troubleshooting issues and escalating as necessary to support the organization with utilization of hardware and software. This is a critical role within the organization, ensuring stability and efficiency of our IT operations.
How will you impact our organization as a System Administrator on a daily basis?
  • System Maintenance, including server hardware, storage, security systems, Active Directory, Azure AD, Azure, and related software.
  • Complete troubleshooting and provide all levels of support, including elevations as necessary.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot computer equipment and software.
  • Manage and implement certificate authority for servers and applications.
  • Monitor regular systems management and maintenance, both on premise and cloud resources.
  • Administer upgrades of hardware, software, and networking equipment.
  • Monitor performance of equipment to determine if and when upgrades are needed.
  • Coordinate installation of new equipment and software and establish requirements as needed.
  • Recommend new systems as needed to account for business growth and develop an end-of-life replacement and upgrade schedule
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware and software problems.
  • Manage and implement centralized Physical Security Systems for all Distribution Centers.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant IT experience with an emphasis on planning/managing enterprise-level data networks.
  • 3-5 years of experience with servers/operating system management.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
  • Familiarity with hardware technology and the global, regional, and local hardware architecture, including virtual servers.
  • Prior experience working with enterprise networks, public cloud networks, security management tools, and mobile equipment for an enterprise comprised of numerous sites and hundreds of end users.
  • Strong knowledge of virtualization: Azure workload.
  • Azure Active Directory experience.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong knowledge of Windows Server 2019 and Linux-based operating systems (e.g., Ubuntu 16.04 and later).
  • Prior experience working with Docker and Kubernetes.
