Our client...a state-of-the-art, oral and maxillofacial surgery clinic in the heart of the historic Walker's Point Neighborhood of Milwaukee, is seeking a front desk receptionist to join their team.
The clinic has a service mission that focuses on providing care for the community in a compassionate and holistic fashion. We use the most up-to-date technology in an inviting and beautiful space. The entity is committed to the success of all its team members and to their empowerment.
The position is 5 days per week (Monday through Friday - 32 hours per week). The responsibilities of this position will include answering and returning phone calls, scheduling patients, scanning documents and mailing letters to referral offices, checking patients in and out, discussing treatment plans and insurance estimates with patients.
The individual who will fill this role should be able to navigate the phone lines, voicemail, and the electronic record system with ease. HIPAA knowledge and competency is required. Prior oral surgery office experience is preferred, prior dental experience is a must. Preference will be given to applicants who have knowledge of navigating WinOMS software.
This is a customer service position that involves taking payments. Excellent customer service is expected. The individual who will fill in this role has to be a people's person who is willing to have conversations about payments with sensitivity. Additionally, the individual who will fill in this role has to have a willingness to understand and empathize with patients' needs.
