Primary Responsibilities

• Support Audiologist by providing live medical transcription during appointments utilizing templates.
• Set up exam rooms and testing equipment.
• Schedule follow-up appointments.
• Protect patients’ privacy by maintaining strict confidentiality as required by HIPAA;
• Collaborate with medical staff to ensure smooth patient flow.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in electronic medical record systems
• Participate in community outreach events;
• Assist with special projects.

Position Requirements

Require

Education: High school diploma.

Skills: Knowledge of medical support functions and procedures preferred.

Familiarity with electronic medical record systems

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Proficient in using computer software programs Microsoft Office & Goggle Platform

Preferred

Education: High school diploma. Post Secondary Education preferred.

Experience: Previous experience in a medical office.
