Job Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Counter Sales Representative. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting customers with their purchases, providing product information, and ensuring a positive experience. If you have excellent communication skills and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we encourage you to apply.
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Assist customers with product selection and provide recommendations
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently
- Answer customer inquiries via phone or in person
- Demonstrate product features and conduct product demos when necessary
- Upsell additional products or services to customers
- Maintain a clean and organized sales counter area
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets
- Work on Federal, State and Local Bids
- Call customers to increase counter traffic
Requirements:
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Basic math skills for handling transactions
- Previous experience in sales or customer service is a plus
- Ability to learn about technical products and explain their features to customers
- Strong organizational skills to manage inventory and keep track of sales records
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
