Food Service Director Qualifications & Responsibilities:

  • Performs inspections of work, storage, and serving areas to comply with regulatory guidelines
  • Plans nutritionally balanced & therapeutic meals that reflect the likes and dislikes of residents, as well as Public Health regulations
  • Responsible for food purchase, production, and timely service of meals
  • Oversee and supervise all aspects of dietary personnel including: Hiring, orienting, trainings, counsels, disciplines, and when appropriate, terminates dietary employees
  • Submits written reports to the administration 
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Food Safety Management Certification
  • Ability to work independently or part of a group and to prioritize and organize tasks
  • Computer knowledge
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Previous long term care experience

Food Service Director Schedules & Benefits:

  • Schedule: Full-Time, Monday-Friday Day shift
