Assistant FoodService Director Qualifications & Responsibilities:

• Inspects the Dietary Department daily to ensure that it is safe and sanitary.
• Submits written reports to the administration as necessary.

• Plans nutritionally balanced & therapeutic meals that reflect the likes and dislikes of residents, as well as Public Health regulations.
• Responsible for foodpurchase, production, and timely service of meals.
• Directs and supervises all dietary functions and personnel.
• Hires, orients, trains, counsels, disciplines, and when appropriate, terminates dietary employees.
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Nursing home kitchen management 
• Ability to work independently or part of a group.
• Computer knowledge
• Previous long term care experience 

Assistant FoodService Director Schedules & Benefits:
