Our growing Anesthesia Billing and Management Company is in need of a full time billing specialist. We are looking for a detail oriented individual to work in all aspects of our medical billing processes. While a Bachelor degree is preferred, a high school diploma with some college level education or equivalent medical billing experience will be accepted. Hybrid work schedule is available after training period.

Responsibilities:
- Review and analyze medical records and documentation to ensure accurate billing
- Verify patient insurance coverage and eligibility
- Prepare and submit claims to insurance companies
- Follow up on unpaid , denied, or incorrectly processed claims
- Communicate with patients, healthcare providers, and insurance companies regarding billing inquiries and disputes
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information and adhere to HIPAA regulations
- Edit and update internal process spreadsheets
- Answer office phones and perform other administrative duties as needed

Skills:
- Proficiency in medical terminology, coding systems, and billing procedures
- Familiarity with medical records management and electronic health record systems
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in billing processes
- Excellent communication skills to interact with patients, healthcare providers, and insurance companies
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
