COMMUNITY SERVICES FOR EVERY1 INC is Hiring an Assistant Director of Residential Services Near Buffalo, NY

We are seeking an Assistant Director of Residential Services to work as part of an Assistant Director team to provide administrative oversight Project S.A.F.E., and IRAs. Assists the Director in development procedures, department wide trainings, and implementation of all services ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.

  • Leader and mentor within the department. Serves as a role model in adhering to Management Standards and Expectations. Displays ethical decision making.
  • Provides guidance in Person Centered Planning helping individuals served to achieve dreams and goals
  • Models, prompts, discussed and proactively plans with residential DSPs for active treatment of people served.
  • Assists with developing and maintaining Residential program policies and procedures.
  • Administers and supervises program services including outreach, intake, planning, service delivery, and follow-up.

Education and Experience

  • Minimum of a Bachelors Degree that meets the requirements for Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional (QIDP) status in New York State.
  • 4 years of senior level residential management experience overseeing multiple group home site managers under OPWDD purview
  • Experience with individuals with challenging behaviors and/or dual diagnosis.

Skills, Knowledge and Abilities

  • Significant knowledge of program administration, OPWDD regulations and the survey process.
  • Ability to organize, lead, schedule and analyze tasks and self-initiate.
  • Strong communication, analytical and organizational skills.
