Job description

We are looking for a part time registered nurse or LPN with a valid Pennsylvania nursing license to work two days a week (Wednesday and Thursday) during surgery in our fast paced Post-Anesthesia Care Unit and/or as a circulating nurse in the operating room. Hours are approximately 7 am - 3:30 or 8-4:30, we offer flexible start times. No experience necessary, we will train!

Responsibilities

• Providing surgical care for patients before, during and after surgery
• Provides patient education
• Assisting the physician and circulating the operating suites
• Delivers care with appropriate age and cultural competence to specific patient populations according to individualized needs
• Maintains confidentiality in matters related to patient, family and client facility staff.
• Provides care in a non-judgmental, non-discriminatory manner that is sensitive to the patient’s and family’s diversity, preserving their autonomy, dignity and rights.
• Must have a COVID vaccine

Pay: $25.00/hour LPN or $35.00 an hour for RN
