GLC Group is Hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) Near Warren, PA
GLC is hiring Registered Nurse (RN) for Machias, NY
- 6 weeks contract
- 6:30PM-7AM (36/48 rotation)
- Travel- $26/$65/$1050 Stipend= $2298 for 48 hrs weekly gross
- Local $46/$69 OT
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, treatments, and procedures as prescribed by the physician
- Conduct physical examinations and assessments of patients
- Monitor and record patient symptoms, vital signs, and medical history
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Educate patients and their families on healthcare management and preventive measures
- Assist with diagnostic tests and interpret results
- Administer medications, including injections and IV therapy
- Perform procedures such as catheterization and wound care
- Assist with emergency medical situations and provide appropriate interventions
Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse in LTC setting
- Must have BLS certificate
- Must have RN state license
- Must have COVID vaccine
- Proficiency in conducting physical examinations and assessments
- Knowledge of human physiology and medical terminology
- Familiarity with electronic medical record systems (e.g., Cerner)
- Ability to lift and move patients safely
