Community Care Alliance is Hiring a Registered Nurse/Psychiatric Nurse (Per Diem) Near Providence, RI

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our ASU(Acute Stabilization Unit) team.

RN is needed to staff our 16 bed Acute Stabilization Unit in Providence, RI. We are seeking an empathetic, caring and energetic RN to deliver the best care possible to adults in various stages of recovery from mental illness, substance use disorders, and chronic medical conditions.

RN will assess and monitor the psychiatric and medical needs of clients, provide telephone crisis intervention/consultation to clients experiencing behavioral health issues, and conduct assessments. Responsible for assisting clients to access medications needed for stabilization and educate on the effects of medication. Collaborate with ASU team, providers and families to provide comprehensive services. Evaluation of clients for hospitalization in crisis and this includes implementing a plan for safety as well as facilitating voluntary and involuntary hospitalization when necessary.

Education/Licensing Requirements:

Seeking an RN, BSN, or ADN. RI RN licensure required.
