Job Title: Human Resources Manager

Reports To: Chief Operating Officer

FLSA Status: Exempt

Purpose:

Working with the Director of Operations, the Human Resources Manager provides comprehensive guidance on HR matters. The Human Resource Manager maintains effective and efficient systems and processes. The Human Resource Manager, working with the Director of Operations, is also responsible for employee relations, on-boarding, human resource policy implementation, and assists with benefits administration.

Responsibilities:

o Human Resources

· Manages personnel recruitment efforts by creating job postings, screening applicants, and scheduling interviews.

· Manage the new hire on-boarding process by creating personnel files, scheduling new hire orientation, assisting new hires in enrolling in benefit programs, ensuring completion of required tax forms, ensuring background and reference checks are completed, requisitioning IT equipment, and serving as a point person for all new employee questions.

· Working with the Leadership Team, develops and implements a comprehensive staff training system for existing staff and new hires. Manages the Compliatric system and other staff development systems.

· Promote a culture of professional development and improvement. Implement the performance management system.

· Maintain personnel records including maintaining files and databases; updating and maintaining employee benefits, employment status and similar records; performing file audits to ensure that all required employee documentation is collected and maintained; and completing termination paperwork and assisting with exit interviews.

· Implement and administer employee policies. Act as a point person for employee questions regarding employee policies. Assist in processing ADA and FMLA requests.

· Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee and benefit information by processing all status changes, salary changes, garnishments, termination and withholding requests.

· Ensure that hiring, termination, reclassification, compensation, and disciplinary action requests are referred to the CEO for approval.

· Assist in administration of workers compensation claims.

· Coordinate COBRA and other benefits for terminated employees.

· Other duties as assigned.

· Demonstrate effective written and verbal communication skills.

· Open communication with all including patients, staff, leadership teams and providers.

· Maintain professional demeanor in all interactions with patients and staff.

· Function independently and completes assignments with minimal supervision.

· Adapt to changes in the work environment.

· Observe work schedule by being punctual for shift, observing designated break schedule, and not leaving work area while on duty.

· Participate in continuing education, in-services, staff development and meetings.

· Respond positively to constructive criticism from peers and supervisors.

Qualifications:

o Bachelor's degree in human resources or business management.

o Experience in Human Resources

o Significant understanding of healthcare operations and government regulations.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $45,000.00 per year
