Communicare Inc is Hiring a Human Resource (HR) Manager Near Blue, OH

CommuniCare Health Services is currently recruiting a Human Resource (HR) Manager to support the Midwest division of our Rehab company. This is a full time, salaried position that offers an outstanding benefits package.

Purpose/Belief Statement

The Rehabilitation Team is looking for a Human Resources Manager to support our Midwest Regional Facilities, in an essential part of our HR team. The department has a passion for working with people and treating every employee as our customer. We are looking for an individual who is open to working in the office to support teams in 80 different facilities in 3 states.
This role is perfect if you are extremely organized, driven, naturally build trusting relationships, and have a strong follow-up process. We are looking for someone who is forward thinking, hardworking, and willing to learn.

Job Responsibilities

  • Complete thorough employee investigations.
  • Respond to internal and external HR related inquiries or requests and provide assistance.
  • Assist with employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and managers and refer complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
  • Assist with any challenges with transition of new hire candidates to hire in all HR systems (Smartlinx Payroll, Relias Training, Workday HRIS, Apploi Applicant Tracking).
  • Assist with maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations and recommended best practices; review policies and practices to maintain compliance.
  • Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources and employment law.
  • Assist in coordinating Retain Engagement Activities and Surveys.
  • Conduct/monitor exit interviews.
  • Track and coordinate HR Metrics reports as required.
  • Assist with Special Events and Presentations (Cultural Events, Employee Engagement Activities/gifts, etc).
  • Support company leaders as it relates to employee relations.
  • Assist in ad-hoc HR projects, like collection of employee feedback, Performance Review Module implementation, etc.
  • Assist in performing orientations, onboarding, and update records with new hires.

Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of human resources processes and best practices
  • Strong ability in using MS Office (MS Excel and MS PowerPoint)
  • Experience with HR databases and HRIS systems (Workday, Smartlinx, Relias)
  • In-depth understanding of sourcing tools, like resume databases and online communities
  • Outstanding communication. Strong empathy and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle data with confidentiality
  • Good organizational skills and high attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.

Education

  • Bachelors in Business, Communications, or Human Resources
  • 2 years proven experience as an HR Manager or relevant human resources/administrative position
  • SHRM-CP a plus
