Job Title: Quality Manager - Civil Engineering
Overview: Our top civil engineering client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quality Manager to join their dynamic civil engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all projects meet or exceed established quality standards and regulatory requirements. The Quality Manager will play a crucial role in enhancing overall project quality, promoting a culture of continuous improvement, and driving excellence in our client's civil engineering projects.
Key Responsibilities of Quality Manager of Civil Engineering
Quality Assurance:
- Develop and implement quality assurance processes and procedures for civil engineering projects.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with industry standards, client specifications, and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with project teams to identify and address quality issues throughout the project lifecycle.
Quality Control:
- Establish and manage a comprehensive quality control program, including the development of inspection and testing protocols.
- Monitor and evaluate construction processes to identify opportunities for improvement and ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Implement corrective and preventive actions to address non-conformities and improve overall project quality.

Supplier and Subcontractor Management:
- Collaborate with procurement to assess and qualify suppliers and subcontractors based on quality criteria.
- Establish and maintain effective relationships with external partners to ensure quality expectations are met throughout the supply chain.
Qualifications of Quality Manager of Civil Engineering
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Proven experience as a Quality Manager in the civil engineering industry.
- In-depth knowledge of quality management principles, standards, and methodologies.
- Familiarity with relevant regulations and codes governing civil engineering projects.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Certification in Quality Management (e.g., ASQ Certified Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence) is a plus.
Up to 150k!
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $125,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
