EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
As a Security Officer 1, you are responsible for patrolling DVVH to protect and guard our property/facility or persons from fire, theft, trespass or other hazards.Duties include patrolling facility buildings and grounds checking for safety hazards, ensuring doors are locked, and enforcing parking regulations. You may be required to transport residents to and from local hospitals and medical appointments and make special mail runs to overnight pick up stations. Also, you are required to assist nursing in locating and returning any missing residents. In addition, you conduct searches of personal property under suspicious circumstances, of conduct investigations, monitor the camera system, answer phone calls, and assist visitors, residents, and employees as needed.
