In order to help the state maintain its competitive edge, the department offers comprehensive services which assure that our clientele has access to information resources: virtual, physical, and human. As one of 10 state agencies in the country to combine library, archival, and public records programs, the department is uniquely positioned to meet these needs.
We are seeking an analytical and customer service oriented individual to join our team as a Resource Management Analyst II. A passion for libraries, information literacy, and a dedication to quality customer service is highly preferred.

• This position serves as State Data Coordinator for the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS).
• The position prepares and submits the annual Public Library Survey (PLS) and publishes the annual Statistical Report of Kentucky Public Libraries.
• The position communicates information to public libraries throughout the state regarding the PLS data collection tool, definitions, and instructions for submitting data.
• The position provides technical assistance to public library staff, trustees, and library consultants in the areas of compiling and utilizing library data and statistics and current and emerging library technology.
• The position evaluates library grant applications and assists grantees with grant applications.
• The position designs and conducts live online and face-to-face trainings for public library staff in the areas of library data and statistics and current and emerging library technology.
• The position educates staff in compiling and utilizing library data and statistics and promotes their use to plan budgets, develop services, and market the value of public libraries and the resources they provide.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
