Job Description:
We are seeking a Fitness Equipment Maintenance Technician to join our team in South Carolina. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance and repairs on a variety of fitness equipment, including treadmills, ellipticals, exercise bikes, weight machines, and more.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on fitness equipment, including cleaning, lubricating, and adjusting parts as needed.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment problems, and perform necessary repairs.
- Identifying part numbers through interpretation of technical manuals and schematics.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repairs performed.
- Assist with other facility maintenance tasks as needed.
Requirements:
- Fitness equipment maintenance and repair experience, required.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic tool set
- Reliable transportation
