Maintenance Technician

We are a growing Conveyor Maintenance company aspiring to hire experienced Field Service Industrial Maintenance Technicians in our Charleston, SC location.

Maintenance Technician Job Summary:

· Full-Time; typical hours 8am-5pm M-F

· Entry level Maintenance Tech $20.00 per hour

· Experienced Maintenance Tech $25.00 per hour

· Experienced Conveyor Maintenance Tech $25.00 per hour based on experience.

· On call to repair machines that develop mechanical issues

· Overtime, and Weekends as needed.

· 8-, 10-, and 12-hour shifts

Maintenance Technician Qualifications:

· Advanced Experience with mechanical maintenance and building / industrial maintenance or a related trade

· Read and interpret equipment manuals, blueprints, and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.

· Perform regular preventative maintenance on equipment, motors, conveyor belts and material handling equipment.

· Troubleshoot and diagnose breakdowns, replace, and repair parts, test and adjust.

· Excellent Troubleshooting skills in electrical and mechanical issues.

· Experience with an array of hand tools as well as power tools.

· Develop and maintain positive working relationships across all levels of the organization.

· 2 years Industrial and General Building Maintenance

· 1 year Conveyor Maintenance; belts, bearings etc. Must have knowledge of types and sizes of components.

· 1 years Welding

· 2 years Carpentry

· 2 years Auto Mechanics

· Valid Driver’s License

· Have a positive attitude with a willingness to learn.

· Excellent attendance

· Training and certification in Pneumatics / Hydraulics, and electrical controls a plus.
