Overview:
We are seeking a friendly and professional Guest Service Representative / front desk person to join our team. As a Front Desk person, you will be the first point of contact for our guests and play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service. Responsibilities:
- Greet guests with a warm and welcoming demeanor
- Check-in and check-out guests efficiently and accurately
- Provide information about hotel facilities, services, and local attractions
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and professionally
- Maintain accurate guest records and ensure confidentiality of personal information
- Assist with reservations and room assignments
- Process payments and maintain cash handling procedures
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area
- Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure guest satisfaction
- Handle phone calls, emails, and other forms of communication with excellent phone etiquette

- Must be available to cover all shifts of the front desk

- Must be available to work weekends, holidays, etc

Skills:
- Previous experience in front desk or guest services preferred
- Knowledge of Choice Advantage is preferred
- Strong guest relations skills with the ability to handle difficult situations calmly and professionally
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong customer service orientation with a friendly and approachable demeanor
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in using phone systems and other office equipment
