- Represent Combined Metals in a positive and professional manner.
- Identify areas of improvement in the company and assist in creating and implementing solutions.
- Arrive to work and meetings on time and prepared.
- Maintain work areas in a clean and organized manner.
- Work with all personnel and Regional Sales Manager(s) to satisfy and achieve company goals.
- Adhere to any Procedures & Work Instructions that include Sales.
- Perform any other duties assigned by Sales Manager.
- Respond to customer requests within 24 hours
- Receive and review customer request for quotations to determine feasibility.
- Ensure sufficient information is obtained to be able to quote per the Work Instructions.
- Quotations are to be made in a timely manner, typically within 24-48 hours of receiving the quotation, if it is a standard product; for bars, shape and other types of quotes within 3 to 7 days after receipt of inquiry.
- Work with customer to resolve any discrepancies during the quoting process.
- It may be necessary to phone the customer during the quoting stage to make sure we have understood their requirements before providing a quotation.
- Develop quotations in cooperation with the Regional Sales Manager(s) or Sales Manager based on identified sales strategy and information collected from customer.
- Receive and review customer purchase order against quotation and resolve any discrepancies with the customer.
- If necessary, call customer to review receipt of our order acknowledgement and contract dates are correct.
- Work with customers who have portals for their orders.
- Enter customer orders into Power-Term per the Work Instructions and acknowledge to the customer within 24-48 hours
