Columbus Regional Health is Hiring a Nurse Practitioner Near Columbus, IN

What you need to know about the position: Columbus Regional Health Physicians has an excellent full-time Day shift employment opportunity#for an Advanced Practice Provider (APP)#who will assist the Critical Care Physician in coverage of the Critical Care and Pulmonology Services. The position can be hired as a Nurse Practitioner#or Physician Assistant. The expectation would be for the APP to work collaboratively with the critical care physician, performing admissions and rounding in the closed critical care unit. In addition, the APP will assist with performing consults and rounding on the critical care outreach program and pulmonology consulting service for patients on the hospitalist, surgery and other services. Columbus Regional Health Physicians offers a competitive wage and compensation package based on training and clinical experience.####################################################################################################### Details of the position: 7am-7pm for one#week, followed by one week off Nights are covered by a separate, dedicated, in-house APP team Procedures are not required As an Advanced Practice Provider with Columbus Regional Health Physicians, you join a network encompassing many specialties. You will also receive administrative support, allowing you to focus on patient care and service. What is required for this position: The ideal candidate will have prior inpatient experience, preferentially with critical care and/or pulmonology experience. At least one year of experience in an inpatient setting Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire To be hired as a Nurse Practitioner: Master#s Degree in Nursing Current RN license in the state of Indiana Active unlimited license from the IPLA State Board of Nursing for Advanced Practical Nursing To be hired as a Physician Assistant: Graduate#of an approved Physician Assistant Training program Unlimited Physician Assistant license from the Indiana Medical Licensing Board
