Columbus Hospitality Management is Hiring a Banquet bartender Near Center, OH
Essential Functions :
- Greet guests pleasantly as they approach the bar; promotes house drinks and utilizes up selling whenever possible to maximize revenues.
- Prepares beverages requested according to standard operating procedures establishing proper portions and ingredients to control costs and provide consistent product to the guests.
- Monitors guest behavior and alcohol consumption to determine when alcohol service should cease; notifies management of incidents involving excessive alcohol consumption or impaired condition of customers;
checks identification whenever the age of a guest requesting an alcoholic beverage service is questionable.
- Sets up portable bar including all alcohol, mixers, ice, garnishes, glassware and supplies; inventories unused liquor and beverages.
- Obtains, counts and secures bartender’s bank; receives cash payments from banquet guests; gives accurate change and balances cash drawer at end of shift.

These physical demands represent the physical requirements necessary for an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of the position.

- Ability to lift, reach bend, stoop, push and / or pull heavy workloads, exert up to 100 pounds of force and the ability to regularly lift 55lbs.
Qualifications, Education, Experience, Skills, and Abilities :
- Basic reading, writing, and math skills
- Specialize knowledge of bartending and mixing drinks
- TIPs certified
- Must meet legal age requirement of state
- Previous POS usage is preferred
- Communication skills
- Guest-centric mentality
