About the Job
We’re looking for a Medical Records Specialist to join our Quality Assurance team at our Portland Service Center in Portland, Oregon. The Medical Records Specialist will be responsible for fulfilling records requests received from ColumbiaCare staff, clients, external providers, attorneys, and the Courts. In addition, the position is responsible for maintaining the records archive in Portland. The Medical Records Specialist must have a thorough knowledge of HIPAA standards and 42 CFR Part 2 regulations.
ColumbiaCare Services is a qualifying employer for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) Program.
Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm (Full Time). This is an in-person position at our Portland Service Center.
What You’ll Make
$22.00 - $26.00 per hour starting wage DOE/Credentials.Additional 5% Language Differential offered for Bilingual or Multilingual candidates (Spanish/English desired).
What You’ll Need
Successful applicants MUST have the ability to pass a DHS criminal background check.
Physical Requirements: This position requires the ability to frequently sit, talk, listen, and use hands and fingers. It may require the ability to occasionally walk, climb stairs and ladders, bend, stoop, squat/kneel, and perform other physical tasks as applicable; as well as lift, carry, push, and pull up to 30 pounds.Reasonable accommodations can be made.
