Columbia Valley Community Health is Hiring a Sterile Processing Technician I Near Wenatchee, WA

Columbia Valley Community Health (CVCH) is a dynamic, progressive community health center with 8 clinic locations throughout Wenatchee, East Wenatchee, and Chelan. CVCH is a modern, well-equipped Community Health Center, with fully integrated EMR, and our services include Medical, Dental and Behavioral Health.

We have an excellent opportunity for a Sterile Processing Technician at our Wenatchee location. The primary responsibility of the Sterile Processing Technician is to perform technical tasks that support the Sterile Processing Department (SPD) including being responsible for decontamination, correct assembly, processing of all instruments, and any additional SPD functions. This individual must be knowledgeable and proficient in sterilization methodologies and universal precautions.

Position Requirements:

· High School graduate or equivalent.

· Registered as a Medical Assistant with WA State Department of Health.

· Six (6) months of Sterile Processing or Sterilization Technician experience preferred. Previous experience with instrument sterilization and knowledge of sterilization equipment maintenance preferred.
