BayCare Clinic Ear, Nose, and Throat is looking for an Audiology Assistant to join our team in Two Rivers, WI. We're looking for a compassionate, thoughtful candidate who wants to contribute to a positive experience for all our patients. The typical hours for this role are Monday-Friday from 8:00am-5:00pm with rotating closing. No Holidays! No Weekends!

- Orients patients on use and function of hearing aids.
- Assists patients using appropriate techniques and procedures to perform minor hearing aid repairs, cleaning, and programming.
- Sends hearing aids to vendors for difficult or extensive repair.
- Orders new hearing aids for patients as directed by Audiologists.
- Assists Audiologists in direct patient care as needed.
- Assists Audiologists with pediatric testing.
- Documents and communicates accurate and timely information regarding patient questions and needs.
- Performs administrative support functions such as appointment scheduling, managing referrals, prior authorizations, and processing work queues.
- Organizes/prepares exam rooms.
- Orders and stocks supplies as needed.
- Assists in routine cleaning of patient rooms and waiting areas.
- Accurately documents hearing aid care provided to the patient in the patient's medical record.
- Respects and maintains confidentiality.
- Works in a safe, compliant, and ethical manner at all times.
The Requirements: - Audiology Assistant Certification preferred but not required.
- Epic experience a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy are necessary.
- Must be computer literate and familiar with the software used at the practice site.
