KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

A key research team member to the strategic growth of this laboratory's mission/vision, the Staff Associate I will advance medical knowledge and to translate it into clinically relevant strategies for diagnosis and treatment of allergic and immunologic conditions. The incumbent will have active participation in clinical and/or basic research and should be able to compete for research funding.

-Laboratory management including safety compliance, equipment maintenance.

-Supply ordering.

-Patient database and sample management.

-Cell culture and functional assays on primary human samples and cell lines.

-Functional assay development in primary human samples.

Qualifications

· Must have a Bachelor’s degree in specific research field and 4 years of wet laboratory experience

· Consistently strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and sustain effective working relationships with professionals in other disciplines.

· The ability to create a high-energy results-oriented work environment that encourages colleagues and staff to value each other’s contributions; and

· The ability to share and celebrate success with colleagues and staff.

The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. The above hiring range represents the University’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.

Salary Range:

$58,710.00 - $72,000.00
