Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Banquet Set-up. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up and arranging banquet rooms according to event specifications. Your attention to detail and ability to provide excellent customer service will contribute to the success of our events.
Responsibilities:
- Set up banquet rooms based on event requirements, including tables, chairs, linens, and decorations
- Arrange furniture and equipment in an organized and aesthetically pleasing manner
- Ensure proper placement of table settings, including silverware, glassware, and napkins
- Assist with the preparation and serving of food and beverages as needed
- Monitor and replenish supplies during events, such as water pitchers, coffee stations, and condiments
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure smooth execution of events
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of banquet areas before, during, and after events
- Provide exceptional customer service to guests, addressing any inquiries or concerns promptly
Skills:
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
- Experience in bussing, coffee service, guest services, or hospitality industry is a plus
- Knowledge of hotel or restaurant operations is beneficial
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with team members
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by event schedules
