What you’ll do:The Brass Tacks
- Review invoices from each check to confirm if any backup needs to be submitted with the payment.
- Print the backup and place each check and backup in an envelope.
- Use the stamp machine to add postage.
- Carry mail to the mailbox downstairs at the end of the day.
- Maintain regular attendance, which may vary according to the needs of the business.
- Perform any additional duties as assigned by the supervisor
The Nitty Gritty
- High School Diploma required
- The position requires reading and writing English
- Ability to handle documents with integrity and confidentiality.
- Basic mathematical concepts required
- Must have basic knowledge and history of use of computer programs (word, outlook, excel)
- Accounting Software knowledge is a plus
- Ability to stand for up to two hours at a time processing mail
- Ability to sit for up to two hours at a time
