We are focused on the pursuit and execution of - design/build/test projects for federal and commercial clients. Columbia Energy currently has an opening in our Idaho facility for a Fabrication Shop Lead.
Job Summary: The Fabrication Shop Lead oversees the safety, quality and timely execution of activities of shop fabrication. This position is responsible for supporting a positive environment, adhering to company policies, safety, profitability, and assisting in assessing future needs in equipment, training, and personnel. The Shop Manger combines leadership skills with an extensive knowledge of welding processes and welding economics to mentor and train staff as well as plan, monitor, and safely deliver fabrication/welding projects according to schedule and budget.
