About the Position:

The Elite and Competitive Administrative Manager ensures efficient and consistent operations of all administration and communication related to Skyline’s Elite and Competitive Programs. This position is highly administrative and customer service focused. It has high seasons and low seasons, with some weeks requiring 50 hours a week. Occasional nights and weekends may be required. The position supports the Directors of Coaching for elite and competitive.

Responsibilities:

Below is a general overview of the Elite & Competitive Administrative Manager’s responsibilities. Additional opportunities may be added to this list at any time during your career with Skyline.

Administrative Responsibilities - 90%

  • Functions as central point of contact for general program inquiries
  • Manages communication deployment and general program information dissemination
  • Builds, improves, and updates all mass communication templates
  • Reviews program specific website content
  • Manages program timelines and task-lists
  • Creates and manages program timeline schedule to plan ahead
  • Manages player and coach registrations in Skyline’s registration system - including coach background checks, SafeSport and Concussion training, setting up registrations for leagues, camps, and clinics, assisting Program Directors with player allocation, etc.
  • Inputs team information into and manages Colorado Soccer Association database and creates player passes and rosters
  • Manages reschedules and communicates to team managers/coaches/referee assignor as necessary
  • Processes payments and oversees financial reconciliations pertaining to the programs
  • Manages the administrative processes associated with tryouts and kick arounds
  • Tracks coach contracts and paperwork and assists with coach paysheets as necessary
  • Supports other administrative staff as time allows and as necessary with inventorying and ordering of office equipment; assisting with office maintenance; managing external relationships with Denver Parks and Rec, Denver Public Schools, etc.

Operational Support - 5%

  • Reviews field permits and requests replacements or additional parks.
  • Assists with practice and field matrixes
  • Inventories and orders program specific equipment and apparel
  • Works with Program Directors on field layouts for logistical and scheduling purposes
  • Assist with tournament or game day operations as needed
  • Manages the administration of the annual tryout process
  • Helps to keep track of office supplies, assist with a wide range of office needs

Executive Support - 5%

  • Support Executive Director (ED) as time allows
  • Report to the ED program and team administrative problems

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must pass a background check and complete yearly SafeSport and Concussion training.
  • Must have strong administrative skills.
  • Great communicator both verbal and written.
  • Must be detailed and track timelines.
  • Must have great customer service and a desire to wow customers.
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Always maintain a professional demeanor and work environment.
